Acidhead è un progetto creato da Luca Sammartin nell'inverno 2003/2004, dopo l'esperienza avuta con “KudaRealPhix”, un progetto TripHop che vede Luca alla creazione dei suoni e Gessica Bicego alla voce (vinsero il concorso Diesel-U-Music nel 2003) e altri progetti, oltre a qualche piccola produzione.
Dopo questa esperienza, come Acidhead compose il suo primo lavoro mai pubblicato “Please Do It Again”, e qualche altra produzione nel periodo appena sucessivo.
Nelle stagioni seguenti Luca si dedica alla ricerca sul suono, con l'intenzione di trovare uno stile particolare e preciso, dando vita a diversi progetti minori, seguendo generi musicali differenti.
Nel Gennaio 2006 alcune delle precedenti produzioni vengono incluse in un EP chiamato “Time Is Gone”, con 2 nuove canzoni, “High” e “Pass By”, cantata da Gessica.
L'EP viene pubblicato dalla netlabel “Dharmasound”, ricevendo numerosi consensi, e Acidhead produce diversi remix commissionati da diversi artisti della scena alternativa italiana (Port-Royal, Fabryka, Blume, Too-Tiki).
Durante l'inizio dell'estate 2006, Acidhead produce 7 nuove canzoni che verranno suonate Live in occasione di alcune date in Agosto, con Andrea Bevilaqua al basso e Alessio Crivellato ai visuals.
Nei mesi sucessivi verranno prodotte alcune nuove tracce (Ice Crusher, Wash Up, Made Of Rain) che verranno suonate durante numerose esibizioni da Novembre a Febbraio 2007; due nuovi componenti verranno inclusi nella formazione live: Alessandro Foletto alla chitarra e Gessica Bicego alla voce e ai cori.
Queste nuove canzoni faranno parte del primo disco di Acidhead.
Acidhead is a project created by Luca Sammartin in the winter of the 2003/2004, after the experience had with “KudaRealPhix“, a TripHop group with Luca to the sounds and Gessica Bicego to the voice (they have won the Diesel-u-Music contest in 2003) and other projects, above all small productions.
After these experiences, as Acidhead he composes the first work never published called “Please Do It Again”, and subsequently some tracks that will remain unreleased.
For all the successive period Luca dedication to the research of sound, in order to catch up something of particular and precise, giving life to small other projects with other artists, following various styles.
In January of the 2006 some of the previously composed tracks, will be included in an EP called “Time Is Gone”, with 2 new songs, “High” and “Pass By”, sung from Gessica.
The EP published by the netlabel “Dharmasound“, received numerous consents, and to Acidhead they come commissions remix from some small artists of the Italian panorama (Port-Royal, Fabryka, Blume, Too-tiki).
During the beginning of summer 2006, Acidhead produced 7 new songs that will come played live in occasion of some dates in August, with Andrea Bevilacqua at the bass and Alessio Crivellato at the videos.
In the next months will be produced some other tracks (Ice Crusher, Wash Up, Made Of Rain.) that will be played live during numerous exhibitions from November to February 2007; 2 new components will be included in the live ensemble: Alessandro Foletto at the guitar, and Gessica Bicego at the voice and the choruses.
These new songs will be part of the first long-playing work of Acidhead.
