En Ababol Party a través de una agenda semanal pretendemos recomendar, agitar y avisar de las inquietudes culturales de la ciudad, de los locales, bares, clubs, centros sociales, okupas, o garajes donde se estén programando fiestas, sesiones, conciertos, o actividades culturales que nos gusten.
Barcelona es una ciudad donde lo underground y lo diferente es cada vez más complicado de encontrar, las legislación actual y la política cultural tiran hacia el “mainstream” el turisteo y los festivales donde se paga un riñón y parte del otro. Pero aún resisten sitios y gente que siguen organizando y peleando por una verdadera cultura musical y artística de todo tipo, que es lo que nos hace falta para que la ciudad no se estanque. Nosotros queremos descubrirlos, compartirlos y acudir a apoyarlos con la agenda semanal.
Por otro lado en Ababol Party también organizamos eventos y colaboramos con iniciativas que apuesten por una cultura diferente, con gran variedad de formatos y sobretodo abierta a tod@s .
Los tres ejes de Ababol Party son:
La variedad musical-artística. ¿Eres capaz de estar en un concierto de rock, luego en una fiesta funky, seguida de una sesion de techno? ¿Para después ir a un after con bassline o dubstep? Y por la mañana ¿que tal una exposición? Nosotros sí podemos. Si es bueno queremos verlo.
La unión hace la fuerza. Si nos juntamos a hacer cosas, saldrá mejor todo. Si los djs pinchan juntos, los músicos tocan juntos, y los promotores organizan juntos, seremos más, romperemos las mafias que siempre programan lo mismo y la gente lo agradecerá ya que verá cosas diferentes, buen rollo y eso siempre se transmite.
Igualdad y esfuerzo colectivo. Tod@s somos iguales, tod@s curramos lo mismo y tod@s participamos. Aquí no hay estrellas ni estrellados. Solo música, arte, ganas y esfuerzo colectivo.

In Ababol Party through weekly news and agenda we intend to recommend, mobilize and warn of the cultural interests of the city, the local bars, clubs, social centers, squats, or warehouses where they are scheduling events, parties, concerts, or cultural activity we like.
Barcelona is a city where we are increasingly loosing the underground scene and the current legislation and the cultural politics are only interested into the "mainstream" the tourists, or festivals where you pay for a kidney and part of another (Spanish expression).
But there is still people that are organizing and fighting for a true musical and artistic culture of all kinds, which is what we need for the city does not dies. We want to discover, share and support them to attend the weekly agenda.
On the other hand in Ababol Party we also organize events and collaborate with initiatives that are seeking a different culture, with a variety of formats and above all open to everyone.
The three pillars of Ababol Party are:
1-The musical and artistic variety. Can you be in a rock concert, then a funky party, followed by a session of techno? How about an after party with a bassline and dubstep? And in the morning "that exhibition in the museum?
We we can. If it's good we want to see it.
2-Unity is strength. If we get together to make things better will come around. If the DJ's deejay together, the musicians play together and organize together events, we will be stronger, break the gangs that always programmed the same events and the same people. and we think the crowd will appreciate it, and it will generate a good vibe.
3-Equality and collective effort. We are all equal, we all work the same, and we all are involved. There are no stars. Just music, art, desire and collective effort and will to do things.
