Since stepping into the spotlight at the age of 16, Kyra has rapidly evolved into one of the UK's hottest singing sensations and is without doubt the voice of a new generation. Kyra first showcased her amazing voice in 2006 on the sultry RNB ballad "Tick Tock". Through the circulation of just a few copies it was declared song of the week on Kiss FM and also frequently rotated on both Radio 1Xtra and Choice FM. The immediate impact of this record led to Radio DJs championing the Kyra sound. Radio One's Ras Kwame was one such person and this prompted his invitation for her to perform in front of a live studio audience at the renowned Maida Vale studios on the same platform that elevated Corrine Bailey Rae. 2007 saw Kyra chosen to perform alongside some of the UK's crème de la crème at the prestigious BBC Electric Proms. It was this opportunity that brought her music to the ears of the legendary Alexander O'Neal. So impressed was he with her refreshing style that he began to work with her immediately. Since then, Kyra has spent much time in LA, New York and Atlanta recording and honing her writing skills with some of the biggest producers such as Bei Major and Printz of the Black Eyed Peas. Kyra currently features on the Hip Hop smash album 'Let Em Ave It' by infamous BET winner Giggs and on UK AMA Best Urban Act Mumzy Stranger's Mixtape, 'No Stranger To This'. In addition to music, Kyra has dipped her fashion finger deep in to the pie after becoming the newly appointed Fashion Editor for www.silverbackmagazine.com. With her take off imminent, Kyra is currently putting the finishing touches to her debut EP entitled 'Hear Me Out!' to be released later this year. Packing a punch with power vocals, big band style production and a fearless personality to match, it is now finally time for the world to 'Hear Kyra Out'. So far we have only had a taste of what is to come, but as we wait in anticipation for more, there is no doubt that this young lady is one to watch! .
