DESCRIPTION:
6 Day Riot are a London based band with an individual, eclectic sound, taking on influences from folk and pop music. Tamara Schlesingers writing shies away from the obvious and the cliched, whilst the hard drums, sweet strings and the generous use of uke, accordion and melodica are all used to generate joyous folk pop. They were named as one of the top 10 "pop picks of 2009" by Pete Paphides at the Times and their latest singles have received National radio play on Radio 2, 6 music, XFM and Radio 1.

Their first single All I Need from their new album will be released on Tantrum Records on 7th June 2010 and they are currently in the studio recording their 3rd LP. This summer they will be playing at various festivals across the UK.
