Brooklyn born Queens bred, Will "40 Illuminati" Pierce previously known as 40 Cal. Hammerz is no rooky to the hip-hop game. 40 began captivating audiences in his high school lunchroom and on the streets of Brooklyn and South Side Jamaica Queens.
Rapping came naturally to 40, his ability to freestyle and his metaphorical word play kept the crowd mesmerized and hanging on every word.
40's flow was so sick that in 2000 he was asked to team up with legendary rapper, Hip-Hop Icon Kool G-Rap, MaBarker, wife of the Don and Giancana to form the group "5 Family Click". 5 Family Click dropped an independent LP through Blaze Entertainment /Koch Records titled "Click of Respect" in 2003. Click of Respect did so well its record "Breaker Breaker" blessed the soundtrack of 2004 film THE COOKOUT (starring Queen Latifah, Megan Good, Danny Glover and Farrah Fawcett).
40 Illuminati keeps it true to the streets, displaying hardcore yet witty rhymes that leave you saying, "Did 40 really say that?" Case and point 40's 2009 mixtape God MC. 40 brought back his mentor Kool G Rap and MaBarker to feature on the debut mixtape. God MC lit up the Internet with digital downloads, thousands of views and controversial fan comments and accolades.
40 Illuminati remains a force to be reckoned with. He continues to prove his incredible skill in all of his collaborations. 40 has not only collaborated with Kool G Rap but with other hip-hop elites such as 50 Cent, LL Cool J, Ric Ross, Jim Jones, Joell Ortiz, Cuban Links, and Spider Loc just to name a few.
40's upcoming mixtape Blue Magic Package is already generating a hip-hop buzz, Blue Magic has more celebrity features, tracks from producers Jayd Daniels of Block Boyz Ent., DJ Pain 1, Jarrett Brown and other well known producers. 40 Illuminati over delivers on this compilation.
What's next for 40 Illuminati? "Everything"
