Human Clay was Released in 1999. It mad Creed a huge band, having giant hits such as ''higher'', ''with arms wide open'', ''what if'', and ''are you ready''. It was a big step from the darker my own prison which was released in 1997 two years ealrier and had more dark lyrics and music, human clay was a completely different sound, with much more spiritual lyrics.
