Adrian Casas, also known as “Ace,” was born on November 27th, 1988. And just like every other facet of his life, his birthday is celebrated uniquely—on the same day as Thanks Giving every four years. He was born and raised in the inner city of Los Angeles along with his three siblings. As one would expect, growing up in the inner city has brought with it many shortcomings when it comes to material possessions. But unlike one might expect, those same shortcomings are what drive this talented artist to produce such a passion-driven art form. Not choosing to have many gimmicks, Ace makes a concerted effort to always be himself. It is for these personality traits that his stage name fits him so well. To him, “Ace” has to do with always striving to do the best he possibly can. And though some might see it as him proclaiming his top spot, in reality, it has to do with having the mentality of always striving for more.



For most, waking up to cracks on the wall and holes in the ceiling would be used as excuses for giving up. But for Ace, seeing that and his family’s overall struggle, it’s simply fuel to the fire that burns through your soul when you hear one of his songs. His delivery is structured, yet rampant. His content educates, entertains, and intrigues. His past scrapes leave scars on the listener’s knees. His retrospective stories paint the pictures which will one day cover the missing dry wall, the shattered windows. They will line the halls of the house he, not dreams, but plans to give his ever deserving parents. You see, for Ace, music is not just an outlet; it’s a way out—a way out from the itch that plagues so many families like his. His past successes are only starting to scratch at the surface of the urn housing his ascending potential.



With influences such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Biggie, Tupac, Nas, AZ, Eminem, Lil’ Wayne, etc. (the list can go on and on), Ace always strives to be the very best at what he does. Enveloping his whole way of being is his favoring song: “Everything I am” by Kanye West, Ace looks to take all that has contributed to his current state and use it to create his future. So he’ll follow his old basketball coach’s advice when he said “Do what you love, and the rest comes” and continue on his quest to superstardom. And when asked if he had anything more to add, he simply stated: “I love music!”
