International party rocker Mangu « El Papi Chulo », is the perfect example of mixing american, latino and european culture. True eclectic fusion is what makes and gives Mangu's music and lifestyle its unique trans atlantic flavor.
Respected multilingual artist, songwriter, producer, mc and dj has toured the world and collaborated with several industry heavy weights. With the support of musical giants like Joe Galdo, Johnny Pacheco(Fania Allstars), Beenie Man, No Jazz, Fugees, Betty Wright, Carlton Coffey (Inner Circle) Chris Blackwell(Island Records) and the success of several major label releases, indie albums and numerous featurings, Mangu has made his mark as an artist on a international level.
No stranger to the stage Mangu has toured the US, Latin America and Europe playing at events like the Roskilde, Paleo Festival, Open Air St Gallen, Splash Festival, Francofolies De La Rochelle, Festival Des Vieilles Charrues, Montreux jazz and many others.
In France he recieved the RFI(Radio France International) Discovery artist of the year award for his debut album « Mangu »
When not on tour, he is in the studio working on various projects for his personal label U.M.A.D.E,
or live in the mix as an official Coast2Coast dj on his Friday night radio show for Starter FM in Paris.
