A Powerful, Soulful Singer on top of being a first-rate musician, Double Z is mainly known throughout the States and Europe as a Super-Funky Bass Player.
Coming out of the Jamaica Queens Camp along with artists such as Najee, Tom Browne,Omar Hakim and Lenny White, and Mic Murphy of The System, Double Z is credited by legendary Bassist/ Producer Marcus Miller as being a major influence and inspiration. This sexy dynamo is a seasoned pro, having toured and /or recorded with artists like rap pioneers Grand Master Melle Mel & the Furious Five, Johnny Kemp, Al B. Sure,Eugene Wilde,D-Train,Natalie Cole,Issac Hayes,Zhane and Kid Creole & the Coconuts . Double-Z was well known for being the bassist of the legendary Jack Sass Band-New York's Funky Rock Band along with famed System artist,Mic Murphy.
Double-Z still performs around the world,and writes and plays music for TV and Film.
