1969 Was Fine is a Punish Yourself spin-off/side-project. Guitars, saxophones, two basses, drums ; we play fast, we play hard, we play stoned. This is drug music from hell's garage, or maybe dark sonic matter falling off the stars ; haunted by the ghosts of Johnny Thunders, Stiv Bators and Link Wray.
