The Hand - Come to Me (Sad Circus Clowns, 1997, Fang Records) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 28, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
Sad Circus Clowns was The Hand’s last CD, recorded at The Magic Shop. Come to Me closes the album with a tone of devastating heartbreak and impassioned plea to fix it. Serious rock n roll, come n get it.

At the top of the mountain we materialized. No steady patient climb, we just blinked our eyes. At the top of the mountain, planted in the loose stone, our flag was blown away by the winds in our minds. At the top of the mountain, never acclimatized. The air was thin and cold. We went over the side. Sometimes when two people want so much so bad, a wild grab for everything before they even know what’s going on. From the top of the mountain we beat a hasty retreat to our quiet empty caves. Easier to breathe, but the air is poison in the absence of love. It might not rain in here, but the sun never shines. When the sky opened up we were wet and cold, so exposed. No knowledge to protect us from the elements. See the sky is clear outside. Baby do we know enough by now? Can we trust enough by now? Come to me…
