Zygo & The Deuce is a country music duo bringing a fusion of traditional and contemporary country to the music scene. John Michael Zygo, raised Upstate New York, is drawn to artists like Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Nickel Creek, and Tim McGraw. Harold Barnard II (aka The Deuce) grew up in Nebraska listening to George Strait, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Chris LeDoux, and many others. Their songwriting and performance – with the down-home honesty of traditional country music and a contemporary energy and style – is both familiar and fresh at the same time. From heartbreaking ballads to hilarious drinking songs that get the entire audience singing, it's easy to see why people across the country are falling in love with Zygo & The Deuce. An amazing duo, that keeps getting better every time they step in front of the microphone.

Singers/songwriters J. Michael Zygo and Harold Barnard II met while on the National Tour of the Broadway hit, Oklahoma! the musical. They quickly discovered they shared a love of songwriting and country music. Once they started writing together, something clicked and they haven't stopped yet. The first album, "From The Road," is about their lives and experiences during the year and half they graced dozens of stages in dozens of towns. The title track off their sophomore release, "One Turn of the Hourglass", sets the mood for an album of songs about everyday life and the ups and downs that everyone goes through from falling in love to losing a loved one.

Both professionally trained singers, with years of touring and theater experience under their belts, it didn't take long for this duo to become a powerhouse on stage. With two distinct voices, their ability to trade off leads and harmonies adds another level to their dynamic stage presence and performance. In their relatively new career, they have already been compared to duos such as Big and Rich, Brooks and Dunn and Montgomery Gentry. They continue to pave their own way across the country music scene and into the hearts of country fans everywhere. The one thing that fans keep saying is that whether it's joy, sorrow, love, or heartbreak, they feel what Zygo & The Deuce are trying to convey with their music.
