" I am in the process of digitally remastering the entire catalogue of THE LOVED ONE for its' first appearance on CD (Aside from The Some Bizarre output ). . . . .



The albums "An Example of the Species . . ." (1979), " . . . . Further Observations" (1982), Locate and Cement (1985), The Radio Fantazias (1994) are due 2009 on a rolling release. . . . .



A new album "SET" will be released late 2010. . . . .



My work with ZWANG TABOO! - "Fixing it up with Zwang Taboo!" (1998) should be available in 2011! - as will "Let it Ring" (Oxford version (1988) & Reims version (2005)), plus my film work with Aldous Eveleigh & Gilles Blaize - "Incidental Music". . . . . "

"THE DEAL" was the first track recorded by THE LOVED ONE in 1978. It opened the album "An Example of the Species . . ." , it is also the first track that I have remastered.



"THE DEPRESSIONISTS" recorded 1982. A 'live' favorite! From the 1982 album "Further Observations". ____________"



WALKING THE WEIR" recorded 1996 . Number 2 in a set of 3. From the forthcoming album "SET" ______________



"ADVANCE" recorded 1980. From the 1982 album "Further Observations". A Zeitgeist that has lasted years _________



"EVERY BEST GIFT" recorded 2004-7. From the forthcoming album "SET". The fourth version of a two and a half minute Requiem



"A DIET OF NITROGLYCERINE" recorded 1983-5. From the 1985 album "Locate and Cement". A cautionary nursery rhyme from a stable lad of the Apocalypse! I am told that this track spawned a more famous, yet diluted homage



"RADIO FANTAZIA No. 3" is number three in a collection of eight Radio Fantazias of which there are nine! Recorded in 1988 it is taken from the 1994 album ‘The Radio Fantazias’ by The Loved One - it can be heard at www.animook.com/namook/gh.php

During 2003 - 2005 I worked on two films of animated paintings and sketches by the Artist Aldous Eveliegh; "A short stretch of the Thames" and "Aldous in London" . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . In 2008 I have been working on a series of films set in Istanbul featuring the paintings by Aldous Eveleigh, one short animation - "Aldous in Istanbul" is now posted online for viewing.
