ZUBZUB is the creation of long-time Ozric Tentacles bass player, Zia Geelani. After more than ten years (1991-2002) of widespread touring, writing, recording and producing with the Ozrics, Zia and his cohorts (including ex-Ozric Tentacle Jon Egan) now concentrate full-time on crafting distinctive dance tunes, where the emphasis is on infectious grooves and strong production. Zubzub's latest album, "Primate", is out on May 10th on their own, newly-formed label Monkeyface Records. With a heady mix of psytrance, breaks, drum'n'bass, and techno all lavished with psychedelia, its an album with a broad appeal!
