The group was formed by Micky Mann also known as The Prince of Da Zone. Micky Mann writes his music and also engineers and arranges. Second voice of the duo is young man known as Rtiist. Rtiist also writes his own lyrics. The unstoppable pair are both melody and hook masters. The love for music is expressed thru their versatile style of Dirty, Crunk, Hyphy, Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B and SouthWest Swag.
Zone 5 has had the opportunity to bless the stage with top industry artist such as Young Buck, G-Unit, Soulja Boy, New Boys, Willie North Pole, and Rampage of Flipmode Squad just to name a few.
Zone 5 was recently nominated as the Best Rap Group of The Year at the Arizona Choice Music Awards hosted by Flava Flav.
