ZODIAC DEATH VALLEY

The ZDV sound is the sound of San Francisco, future past and present. Described as "cactus flower romanticism" and "junk rock", dark like the cold bawdy barberry waterfront, yet vibrant and colorful like Dolores Park summers. They started as an acoustic three piece, then adding members to create their own brand of dirty-country blues-goth-psych-rock n roll. Playing and headlining S.F.'s top (and bottom) clubs, radio stations, art galleries, warehouses, and appearing on local bay area television as well as touring the western U.S. in support of their five song e.p. "Z.D.V." These songs can be heard through the captivating lyrics (Niccolo Abodeely) barrel house influenced piano, psychedelic organ layers (Nate Ricker) thumping bass lines (Dan Burns) with a searing lead guitar (Jordan Villa) and a trainrolling backbeat (Landon Cisneros) to bring it home. The raucous live ZDV performances have garnered them a reputation as a band that must be seen.
