Young And Dangerous

Young And Dangerous started back in early 2005 as a dis-commercial hardcore punk interest-sharing band, consisting of four anti-music talent members : Timmy - vocals, Ad - guitars, Azam - bass and Kerk - drums. The demo and some EPs were soon released after a few month of performing at some DIY gigs in local's and Singapore. Que Zairy took a replacement as a bassist during final recording of first full length CD album which was successfully released in 2007 with the title : Dangerous Youth And The Life Saving Thrashpunk Tunes. The album was co-released by some local and France record labels, and well distributed 1000 copies in some punk stores in U.S, Japan and France. They packed their bags and did some low budget band touring around Malaysia to promote the album and introduce thrashpunk music, which was originally invented and pioneered by the band itself in DIY local scene with socio-political messages and punk rock ideas.



Somehow in the end of 2009,the band made their self-revelation with converting the music to anti-shouting crossover 77 punk rock tunes in terms of gaining more attention to share the messages brought. The band signed with local independent label, Young Records in early 2010 and sponsored with music instruments to help spreading their ideas with more pleasant and professional way. The band successfully released their single experimental punk rock song, Tidak Peduli in a promo CD and music video format. Later on the song was officially on air at local radio station, Traxx Fm following their first live interview in a mass line.



In the mean time, this 'made in Johor Bahru' band is completing their recording in a professional studio for the upcoming Punk Rock Revelation EP CD which will be released under Young Records soon. And these punk rockers continue the struggle by the name of Y.A.D with new line-up standing : Ad Skull Candy - vocals & guitars, Que Zairy - bass and Kerky Sugar - drums, to promote the fundamental of punk rock culture to mass atmosphere, in music and idea itself.
