What do you do when your mother has you at 13 years old; an father tells you he doesn’t want anything to do with you? What do you do when you’re in the 6th grade and have to provide for yourself? Do you lie down and make excuses, or do you man up as much as you can and fight your way through? Malcolm Bailey aka Krytical chose to step up, and not be a victim of his situation. Bouncing between two homes in Arkadelphia & Little Rock, Arkansas Mr. Bailey had the opportunity to see, and live through a lot of the hardships plaguing most young African-American men in today’s world. Choosing to use his god given talent of music, he has been able to create voice for his pain, & his love. Krytical has always been told he had a gift with words. He has been able to paint lyrical portraits, to bring you in to his world. Using his music to be the “CNN” of his neighborhood, his life, his pain, and always reporting the truth in his music, he gives you an up close and personal view into his soul. The definition of “Critical” is inclined to judge severely and find fault, characterized by careful &exact evaluation and judgment. Krytical used his surroundings, as his motivation to get him out of a critical situation. He has gone on to win best new rap artist in the Urban Music Showcase, and the Broadway Showcase. Currently residing in Houston, Texas, Krytical has taken his craft to another level. Releasing a series of mixtapes, hosting several parties, and rocking plenty of shows, with his new hit single “Ain’t I Mane”; Krytical is moving full speed ahead, and not waiting for the industry to catch up.
