Amazing, skilled, intense. Those are just a few of the words that come to mind when describing topnotch producer Brian Fyngas Jackson. Texas-bread but with a universal sound. Selling over 40,000 units across the United States, Yung Fyngas has also written and produced for some of todays leading artists, such as platinum recording artists Lil Flip, Paul Wall,Grammy winner Chamillionaire, the r&b heart throb Donell Jones, Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson, Pimp C. & Bun B. of UGK, Rick Ross, Z-Ro, Scarface, Stack Bundles, H-Town, and even Kumbia Kings DJ Kane. Whether its rap, r&b, pop, reggae, latin, rock or gospel; Yung Fyngas has it covered. His very first attempt at putting together a compilation album was a success. The Foundation combined a multitude of musical genres into a nice neat package to showcase his creative musical abilities. The album featured the hit single, Ride Tonight which went on to be nationally recognized on Rolling Stone Magazines Shake Stuff Up Tour. The second attack was more street-worthy, putting more focus on the hip-hop side of his craft. DJ Double Rs The Specialist went on to sell thousands in mom & pop stores around the state. Yung Fyngas has always known that no dream is too high to achieve. His mother taught him that. In 2002, Yung Fyngas turned his dreams into reality when the young producer-entrepreneur founded his own production company with partner, DJ Double R. The dynamic duo started by running their own studio and slowly recruiting artists. The San Antonio-based Fyngermade Productions soon became known not only for its blazing tracks, but also for its parties, shows, and for harboring two of the cities most talented artists. As the CEO, Yung Fyngas discovered and personally developed the R&B singers & rappers in San Antonio and also spent time developing platinum recording artist Lil' Flip . My confidence has been mistaken for me being cocky. I just know what Im good at making great music, states the business-savvy Yung Fyngas. The 23-year-old has often been compared to such greats as P Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, Rodney Jerkins and Kanye West. The element that sets Yung Fyngas apart from most other producers on the scene, is that he is also an accomplished musician; playing everything from the piano, drums, and guitar to the saxophone. Born in south Dallas to a single mother, growing up Yung Fyngas was not even allowed to listen to rap music. He started playing piano at age six in the church and his musical talents progressed rapidly. By his early teens Yung Fyngas was directing choirs and composing music. The multitalented youngster began to delve in rhythm and blues and eventually hip-hop. People would always be blown-away the first time theyd see me on the board. Theyd say Where are your fingers? Thats how I got my name. To think, this is only the beginning. Yung Fyngas is constantly reinventing himself with fresh ideas and new songs. Often referred to as the answer, since Texas has yet to have a super-producer on the urban music front.
