“I want to build an empire,” this, a confident statement coming from someone who grew up on the tough streets of Wynwood in Miami. Yungen now 24, born Luis Maldonado doesn’t necessarily have the back ground of someone who will one day have his own empire. Or perhaps quite the opposite, perhaps he has the perfect recipe: talent, hunger, ambition, desire, and dreams….



Yungen has harnessed all the difficulty and pain growing up to become one of the premier hip hop artists in Miami. Since the tender age of 11, Yungen knew he had the talent to propel himself in the music industry. While listening to fellow recording artists Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z and TI he knew someday he’d be the one on the stage, with a microphone in his hands performing for thousands and thousands of people. But he first had to overcome spending five out of the last seven years in correctional facilities throughout the state. “I needed to make a change with my life and focus on my God given skills or I was going to be another statistic of the streets,” says Yungen.



As fate would have it, Ata Gonzalez and Humberto Torres discovered Yungen and saw true, raw talent in the young man. “From the first track I heard of Yungen’s, I knew he was the one. It feels good to get someone off the block and help them grow as an individual," says Gonzalez. Committed to developing him, the duo signed Yungen and began investing in his aspiring future.



Yungen has begun the long, process of unleashing his talent on the world. “We are flooding the streets with Yungen’s product right now and getting everyone hooked to his swag,” says Humberto Torres. With performances which have landed him in the hottest South Florida nightclubs for the last several months, the artist has commenced an exciting adventure under the helm of the The G Inc name. Produced by The Diaz Brothers, Manny Got’dem and others, featuring all star collaborations by some of the most iconic and legendary figures of the game. It’s virtually impossible for Yungen’s name not to become the talk of the town.



With his talent and ambition, Yungen seems to already have the keys to his empire in his hands.
