Who is Yung Boss? He’s only one of the south’s best kept secrets and one of the newest additions to the boiling pot, about to overflow, Houston underground rap scene. Originally from Houston, he spent the majority of his teenage years in La Porte, a.k.a., Long Paper, TX. Yung Boss is on a daily grind to put himself on the map, and solidify himself as one of the hardest hitters representing for the new generation in this juggernaut called Hip Hop. He combines his effortless flow with a charismatic swagger to present one of the most unique styles that the dirty south as seen in quite a while. Yung Boss is also clicked tight with many of Texas’s other bright young stars such as MC- I, Wood- T, G- Dolla, Gata, and Stevo the Don. Boss can be heard with these cohorts on an endless amount of mixtapes soon to be flooding the underground.

Yung Boss’s grind started at a young age. Like many other youngsters, he initially had dreams of making it big, but he just really didn’t foresee a rap career going any further than the freestyle sessions at the lunch table or the back of the school bus. It wasn’t until one of his closest patnas encouraged him to write some of his raps after that Yung Boss actually took rapping seriously. From there, Boss would piece by piece put together his own studio and start recording his rhymes to wax, with intentions of making a name for himself.

Arming himself with a new focused release, be on the look out for “Dis How it Go Vol. 1” the mixtape, and many other projects to be dropping in the near future. Definitely look for Yung Boss to leave a major mark on the rap game.
