Yukiko Iiri

Raised in Tokyo and based in the East Coast, Yukiko has been working on music her entire life. Her diverse background includes classical voice training in Japan, jazz studies in the United States and lots of experience with film scoring. During most of her time, she composes and sings in her home studio. Recently, Yukiko plans on furthering her music career of creating more edgy songs and collaborating with other musician.



Last month(Feb,2008), her music was featured on the internationally downloadable compilation album, "Lounge du soleil Vol. 2," produced by the world renown Roland Voss (a.k.a. Lemongrass) & his brother, Daniel Voss from Germany.

This March, 2008, the 130-minute documentary film,"Palestine 1948 NAKBA,'' which directed by Ryuichi Hirokawa. The film, Yukiko scored, has been released in theaters in Japan, France and Lebanon. Please check out the trailer below,and see the official website.
