This band was formed in 2004 by some guys in high school together who wanted to play some sick music. Over the years we have done a surprising amount, more so than I think we all expected, and we've had an immense amount of fun doing it! But, as with all good things, nothing can last forever. Things come and go, start and fade out. And that is something that unfortunately has happened to this project, one that we all loved. Your Closest Enemy is not necessarily done for good, but effectively done for now. Times change, people change, and you just have to deal with that and make the best of it. That is what we are all trying to do. However, you also never know what the future will hold. Never say never. That is also something we are all doing.
To anyone who ever came to one of our shows, bought a shirt or an old demo from us, gave us a listen, befriended us or talked to us, or supported us in any way we thank you, sincerely! Without you all we couldn't, and wouldn't, have done it for as long as we did!
As for now Brian, Nick, and I have formed another project with a couple other awesome dudes called Eastern Delta. Check it out and be on the look out for much more to come!
