JUNGLE FEVER

In 2002, Shaun and I (Gabe) had a cheesy straight edge band called BACK ON TRACK which sucked fat nuts but we played with the Cro-Mags so maybe its you who can suck the fat nuts? Anyway, that band sure did suck, so in early 2004 after what was supposed to be our triumphant return show following an extended break turned into a train wreck and our subsequent last show, we decided to take the new songs we had written and start a new band. We recruited Jiggsy and Dougy and JUNGLE FEVER was the result. We shat out a demo, played a ton of local shows, got Tom on second guitar, squeezed out a 7" (with the worst dive bomb you have ever heard), played some shows around the country (we were generally too lazy to play any more than three shows in a row), pooped out a split 7" with our mates from The Dead Walk, half the band moved to Sydney so we got Joel (aka THE BEST BASS PLAYER IN AUSTRALIAN HARDCORE) in the band, dumped an LP and then basically imploded on ourselves and broke up in. It was great fun and I got to show Craig Setari my Straight Ahead tattoo.
