Young Keys

Producer, Rapper, Entrepreneur, Young Keys is the next big “Mogul” in hip hop to look out for. His affiliation with the Goon Squad has led to his recent music business association with well known artists such as R'Kelly, Shawnna, Twista, Cap 1, Young Burg, Flo-Rida and his long time friend and mentor Bump J. Young Keys stage and business name was influenced by a combination of his hometown name, drug product of his former lifestyle and untouchable skill as a producer.



Born Jeremy Love of the projects of Kankakee Illinois, Young Keys was raised as an only child by his mother. At the age of five, Young Keys' father was imprisoned on drug charges. With his mom struggling to make ends meet, Keys grew to become very familiar with his father's life of the streets. To his aid, Keys often went to church with his grandmother where he learned of his natural ear for music. There he played the drums and worked as a sound engineer in the AV department. It was these early experiences that introduced Keys to music production. In 1996, Young Keys suffered the tragic loss of his close uncle. After loosing the primary father figure in his life, Keys found himself up against the wall. Keys dropped out of high school after the ninth grade and began selling drugs and gambling. Although he was caught up in the street life, Keys maintained a skill of networking while still perfecting his craft of making beats and producing songs. Keys soon concluded that the drug game was not worth it anymore and gave it up. He later earned his high school diploma and took on the motto of being serious about his work.



To add to his existing rhythmic talent, Keys found his poetic niche as a rapper while incarcerated on drug and gun charges. His main source of inspiration was derived from the absence of his father as a child. While in jail Keys wrote to the memorized beats playing in his mind from the depths of the true hustler within. Having lived the life most rappers write about, Keys dedicates his every flow to his streets and his people. After his release in November 2007, Keys decided it was time out for losses and became an all around hustler. Although making a great deal of money from shootin' dice, Keys who is musically known as “Young Stunna” is now the brain of his click and not ashamed of his legitimacy and desire to earn a college degree to enhance his career



Now residing in Chicago, Keys considers himself the solidified business man of the streets, rapping, producing and never getting caught “Under the Act” as he would say. Young Keys religiously believes that God is with him and makes a strong effort to be the positive light of his crew. Keys who is no stranger to producing is the proud father of two, and the undisputed business man you want to contact. While doing what he considers “The Music Thing”, Keys stays true to being a genuine spokesperson of the streets. He never forgets the many guys lost and locked up along the way and keeps hatin' at a distance . Keys is currently working on his debut album BlocK HeaD.
