He is known as, "The man of a thousand voices" for his range and ability to switch vocal patterns at the drop of a dime. Yet, he is also known as "Young Mall the Hard Time Rhymer", for his tendency to deliver hardcore rhymes about hard times growing up in the inner city. Although he prefers to keep it rugged Kemal is not afraid to switch up his style and step out the box from time to time. Young Kemal started off as the youngest emcee in a large group of rappers known as the Lump Sum which later on would break up and branch off into two Oakland bred groups known as The Game Brothas and Hogg Moggz. Young Kemal (The Godfather) comes from a diverse background which reflects in his music. His raw uncut delivery and subject matter combined with occasional comic relief, is just a portion of what makes him an all around complete MC.
