The name is Jeffrey Warren, Jr. also know as "Young J". He was born November 11,1993. He started singing at the age of 5 in his church choir. Then at the age of 8 , he stared listening to singers like Usher, Michael Jackson and Aliyah and other music artists . He was inspierd to sing by his mother, and his father who is an accomplished drummer. Also, his extended family is filled with much talent his uncle who is an inspiring and gifted rapper and a cousin who sings. As a result of having a musical family, he credits his now burning passion and desire for music to originate from his family environment. There are many artists that has givin Young J inspiration such as Chris Brown, Usher and Chrisitina Aguilera. By the age of 13, he started to get real serious about music and started writing songs and recording them in the studio. Often times he feels that the studio sessions are pretty stressful around school work but he says one day it will all pay off. In spite of many people that would put him down and try to discourage him, he will continue to write songs and record. His father would tell him from time to time to keep tryin its a lot of hard work, it would pay off one day. Young J believes in his determination to not allow people to turn his dreams down and keep God first. He believes he can accomplish them and feels that it is all up to him to just do it.
