Raised in the city of Stockton, CA this 25 year old rapper/producer has been laying it down since his early teens. Who would've known that his hobby with lyrical skills would soon become his profession. Freestyling on the blocks and in the alleys of the grimey North Side of Stockton is how he got his start. After receiving outstanding feedback, working with little resources to make songs, he began recording songs on a karaoke machine rapping over other established artists instrumentals.

In 1999 he hooked up with close friend T-Lo of Mo Style Records and began to acquire the knowledge he now has obtained to produce his own music and record vocals using state of the art equipment. After patience of perfecting his craft and dealing with the ups and downs of the industry he was linked up with entrepreneur, James Bomb CEO of Back Route Records, the new label he now calls home. Now with the proper backing, he is ready to show the world his unique and fascinating style.

In 2005 Young Collage and Okwerdz had the honor of working with DJ Green Lantern on the Sneak Attack Mixtape. He has appeared on tracks with many artists to date including Goldie(The Federation)Diz(The Militia), Messy Marv, Brotha Lynch Hung, Turf Talk, The Luniz, 2Short, Devin the Dude, Mistah F.A.B., T-Nutty, Letoya Luckett(formally of Destinys Child), His album is now underconstruction as he aims to bring all out bangers teaming his lyrics with the outstanding and topnotch production by Teak and Dee of Hallway Productions(Ice Cube, E-40, Dub C), Dj Epik(E-40, Mac Dre, Spice 1, MC Eiht) and Brotha Ben.
