Blitz McBain - Bio Malik Bruno a.k.a "Blitz McBain" is a 21 year-old Harlem native out of New York City. Blitz is a Hip-Hop artist best known for his multiple flows, swag, and charismatic lyrics. With influences such as Michael Jackson, Heavy D, Public Enemy, Jay-Z, Prince, and Kanye West, the man is not afraid to spark controversy and get the ladies roused up. He first established a name in the New York hip-hop scene at the age of twelve when he first got involved with his father’s music sessions and then being part of school talent shows and then Blitz made his way to various open mic’s across the city. With clever lines and a hot swag, Blitz consistently brings fresh innovated ideas to the game. The name Blitz comes from when he was a young boy, Blitz used to fight with a lot of aggression and attack his opponent hard, so Blitz kept the name and he unleashes his aggression onto his songs and mixes it sweet inviting lyrics to catch all the ladies attention. Blitz is now putting every second he has into his up-and-coming album called Beyond Expectations. When he was asked his favorite song off the album he replies, "My favorite song is Comfort Me, It takes place in the afterlife and how I think it's going to be once I pass on in this life time, it’s sort of like being an angel looking down on the world as somebody dies." After the passing of Blitz’s mother in 2007, Blitz vowed to become a successful music artist. Blitz said "Music is all I have, I grew up in an environment that throws hurdles after hurdles and so I started to incorporate what I had seen and been through in my lyrics. Music kept me grounded and out of trouble". His hustling has definitely payed off. Blitz has been apart of the Dipsets’ movement in New York, by being a rap artist for writers block which is JR Writers independent label. He has shared the stage with several Dipset artists like Camron, Jim Jones, Hell Rell, JR Writer and he even opened up for platinum R&B recording artist Ne-Yo.
