Born June 12, 1992 in Covington,TN but raised mainly in a small town called Brighton, not too far from Covington. He goes by the name Young.B/Mr.901. He discovered his passion for music at an early age. Beginning his music career independently at just the age of 12, the year of 2004 his 7th grade year in junior high. Young.B has came a very long way.

What inspired him to begin creating music was a junior high friend by the name of Reggie, who was doing music himself at the time. After hearing Reggie's cd, Young.B decided to give this the music thing a try. He began recording on an old tape player his mother bought years ago. Receiving instrumentals anyway he could, he recorded many many songs. He realized he enjoyed creating music, friends and family members also like what he was doing. Eventually he began recording in a home studio and, producing his own instrumentals with a software called FL Studio 6.

By age 13, Young.B had already recorded his very first cd titled, "Tipton County's Best". Just in one year, his name was already buzzing after handing out his cd at his junior high school. Many disagreed with the cd's title. Some felt Young.B wasn't the best in Tipton County. This motivated Young.B to get better and better. He began working on 2nd cd titled, "Leader of Da Troops". He finished this one his freshman year of high school. This cd was even more criticized.

At age 15, Young.B tranferred high schools, still giving himself the title, "Tipton County's Best". This soon lead to his first and many other beefs, with other artist throughout his school. He eventually gave up that name. Not cause he didn't feel he wasn't the best, but because he wanted something better. He then begin doing shows independently. This gave Young.B more exposure. Later he was regconized by an indie label called KnocDown Entertainment. They didn't sign Young.B, but they helped them get more shows. The CEO of the label, FJ, taught Young.B many things about the industry he knew nothing about. This made Young.B want to learn as much as possible.

He later moved on. Once again he was independent. Young.B felt this was the way to go. Recoding mixtape after mixtape, and leaking most of his music, doing whatever he could to get his name hot. He was well respected for doing everything independent as far as getting his self shows, the promotion, and marketing. He grew his self a large fanbase. Receiveing more and more traffic on his myspace and youtube, his name began to grow more. Record Deals were then at the time being offered. Back Door productions offered a 1 album deal. Young.B wanted to take it but things just din't go as planned. He was offered another deal by Illumnia Records, which also din't go as planned.

Now at age 18, after recording hundreds and hundreds of songs and doing many shows. He knows he has what it takes. He understands the industry and is willing to learn more. He feels he can be the next big thing, with the right promotion and exposure. Until then, he keeps dreaming.
