yasSon

A Beatboxing workshop leader and performer, yasSon has been teaching now for around 4 years at a variety of settings, including; Festivals, Schools, Colleges and Youth establishments.



Recently he taught and performed with the students, at The Vortex Jazz Club in Dalston, London, as part of a project from the BrazenBunch collective. He has also worked with teenagers with learning difficulties as part of the 'Skills for Life' programme at Fareham College.



Performance-wise, yasSon is one of the most versatile Beatboxers in the UK Beatbox scene and recently competed in the Beatbox World Championships, in Berlin. His routines often incorporate the pan flute and didgeridoo; of which he collaborates with many local musicians and also in solo pieces.



Over time he has worked and collaborated with artists such as:

Bellatrix, Corroboree, D-Rop, Fraizer, Hakuna Pesa, Hobbit, Indra MC, Mike Fry, Olympic Chimps, Reeps One, Space Baby, Subversive Underground, Swampglow and TyTe. He has supported artists such as A-Skills, Eklips, Ezra, Hakuna Pesa, Hobbit, DJ Hype, M-Code, SDM, DJ Semtex, Sons of the South, Triple M and DJ Yoda



yasSon is also known For:



Competed in the 2009 BBN World Championships



Has run beatbox workshops for all ages/levels around the UK at schools, colleges and festivals

Running a Teens Tent at Small World Festival



Organised and judged the Brighton Battle Jam Beatbox Battles
