Kama is the french dj / producer Yannis Kamarinos. Yannis has been evolving since 1995 in the electronic music scene under names such as Jaia, Even 11, and Altitudes, he has produced Progressive, Trance, Progressive House, Electro, and Downtempo music. To date, he has released 3 albums, several 12 inches, as well as numerous tracks on various label’s compilations. These include labels such as Island, East West, Serial Records, Electrochoc Tribal Vision, Wagram, Milan, Iboga, Digital Structures, along with many more.



He has remixed famous artists like the French singer Mylene Farmer, the Moroccan singer Tyoussi, the Swedish band Vibrasphere, or French Djs like Ceeryl and Charles Schillings.



He has also had his music remixed by various artists such as Minilogue, Arias, Da Fresh, Jimmy Van M, Damon Jee & Olivier Giacomotto, Zoo Brazil, Arias, or Pig & Dan .



In the same time he worked in mixing and additional production in several successful tracks too, like the hit "Breakfast" from Balazko, or "Catwalk" from Benjamin Braxton & Neja.



In 2005 he created the electro-house project Kama & Mac Gregor with his friend Mac Gregor and also the label Pumpz Recordings with his friends Balazko. He released his electro-house and club productions as Kama on Serial Records, Electrochoc, and Pumpz Recordings.



He is also working with Extreme Music, and by the way his music is often played on TV in adverts and documentaries, in video games, and movies. He is currently working on short-movies soundtracks too.



Since 1997 he has been performing as a live act and DJ all over Europe and in other countries such as Japan, Israel, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and USA in famous festivals such as Shambhala (Canada), Vuuv (Germany) , Solstice (Japan) or Universo Parallelo (Brazil), and clubs such as Le Batofar and La loco (Paris), Cube 326 (Tokyo) , Butan (Wuppertal) , Rohstofflager (Zurich) or The Fridge (London).
