YACKO

Yacko signed her first record contract when she was 16 years old. She and her group Pumpkin Crewjoined a compilation called Pesta Rap 2 (1996) with a single called Nongkrong. Then, after finishing her Master degree, Yacko's 1st solo hiphop album entitled Refleksi (EMI Music Indonesia) was released in 2005. The album was produced by Sydney's DJ and musician DJ Edo under the record label of Arqetech Studios. Two years after, Yacko released Mendua which was under heavy gauze layers of catchy hooks and melody.
She's the one who's livin a double life. Hectic & Busy 24/7. A lecturer by weekdays and a musician by nite or weekend. She's into body arts but have no intention of making a fashion statement, neither trying to be trendy. Her tattoos and piercings make her who she is. Each of them reflected the objectives she has reached in her life, and she loves her life coz it's all about expression. she doesnt care what people think bout her. She's just tryin to be true. Be realistic and pretty much keepin it real. What u see is what u get. She speaks her mind through music. She once said "to recognize the happiness and the pain in me I always have to hear some sounds and that i reached my dreams by having the courage to pursue them." She never stop believing and so you too.
