Coming up Rome (born Daniel LeCroy) has always had a passion for music, but was unable to afford studio time do to other engagements that have happened in his life. He believes "everything happens for a reason" and even though his child hood was not the best by far he has come into adulthood better then anyone expected. It was said by many that his actions were gonna cause him to be deceased by the age of 15. Thankfully he's still here. Rome spent most of his juvenile life behind prison bars all through out the state of Maryland; but he claims that being incarcerated has made him a better man because of it. "It showed me that point blank at the end of the day you can only count on one person in your life and that's YOU." His mother (which he keeps VERY little contact with) some how some way kept him from his home until one day she simply just kicked him out on the streets with nothing but the clothes on this back. He knew then that it was all or nothing and he was gonna show not only his mother but everyone else that he will make something of himself and then "send them a fuck you in a nice wrapped box." Young Rome was born.



At the age if 14 he recorded his first song called "Load that clip" ft. Young Fate and G force of "S.E.U." He loved the feeling of getting every emotion that he had out;whether it be feeling down about his past or wanting to make something people could dance to in the club. He has hundreds of songs recorded but will only record things he has done in HIS LIFE. He believes if you haven't done it you should not talk about it. His favorite line is"Ive got references" whether that be towards his "past" or his "women."
Now at the age of 21 years old he is finally coming up.
He performs every where around Maryland from the "Blackhole Rock Club" to one of the biggest venues in Maryland "Sonar." He recorded his first music video titled "Ballin" which can be found on websites such as "YOUTUBE,SMUGMUG, and MYSPACE VIDEO. Rome is now not only performing hip hop music; but also sings, creates graphic designs,produces music,does promotion for clubs(such as Bourbon st. night club),and his newest found love of being a deejay .
He no longer stands alone with his music he is now part of a group called "PNRE" or as he calls it "my fam" which include Reap,P,Young Lz, Evol and himself. They met a couple years ago and have been working together ever since. He says "I like doing music with these guys;there good dudes and that's hard to come by."
Now with a fan base growing literally every moment,he is finally beginning to see a response and been receiving much deserved credit for his hard work. "Its amazing for someone you don't know to walk up to you and ask if i am Young Rome;there's no better feeling in this world."
His biggest supporter has and always will be his sister Crystal. Like all family they fight and fight and fight but would take a bullet for each other faster then a heart beat. "Point blank my sister is really the only (real) family i have; we stick together like gorilla glue" (as he laughs)"and i love her for always being there. People have came and gone through out my life but Crystal has always stayed by his side;(Rome) 'now that's a good look"
Rome may feel like he is getting closer to that 'golden contract' but says he WILL NOT STOP till he reaches the top then when he is on top just laugh it up.
