DESCRIPTION:
Debut 7" vinyl release from this New York-based hardcore punk band. Though from NY, there seems to be a Boston connection also, where this was recorded at Side Two Studios and features ex-members of Bloodkrow Butcher, Razorheads, and a bunch of other bands. The obvious observation is that this band definitely seems like they're into early Anti-Cimex, but the presentation and sound is extremely direct and immediate. It's almost primitive, and they make no bones about it. No bullshit: a dry analog recording and all the lyrics lumped together in a single paragraph on the back cover -- well that, and step by step instructions on how to actually make napalm. If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is first release from Roach Leg Records, which I would assume is run by one of the members of the band. I hope we can expect more intense, organic hardcore to come from this label because this is great.
