Anointed, Pure, and Powerful are all words used to describe the ministry of the up and coming artist, Min. Mark Morton. Min. Morton is an anointed minister, worship leader, clinician, and teacher. Which for the last 14 years has been leading the body of Christ into new dimensions in praise and worship and now has been commissioned by God to share this anointing with the world. His ministry has carried him as far West as San Diego, California and as far East as Memphis, TN. Destiny has met purpose and out of this union we introduce you to the ministry of Min. Mark Morton, founder of Behind the Veil Praise and Worship Ministries.

Who is Min. Mark Morton? Min. Morton is a worship leader that was born and raised in Nashville, TN. It was there where he developed his love for God. At the age of 8, this love was evident as he participated in the youth choir at his moms church. After life circumstances took him away from the church he was geared in, he started attending church with his uncle. Min. Mortons passion for God radiated in the worship service as the other young people would model his style of worship. At the age of 12, he gave his life to the Lord and thus began his path to his God given destiny.

Through much training, he started leading worship service at his church. While his musical ability lacked the formal training, he did have something that would carry him far beyond anything that he could be taught at any school or musical institution, and that was a God given anointing. Very shortly after he started leading worship service at his home church, he was asked to lead worship at national conventions and at local churches in Nashville.

The scripture states that, the steps of a good man are ordered by God. God has truly ordered every step that Min. Morton has made in his life. At the age of 19, Mark accepted his call to ministry and began preaching Gods word. While ministering at a church in Jackson, TN, he received a prophetic word that God was going to relocate him to a place where his ministry would be developed and grow beyond his wildest dreams. Three months later he received a job that relocated him to Atlanta, GA.

After relocating and being place under the ministry of Bishop Ray M. Trout, Pastor of Harvest-time Apostolic Ministries, Min. Morton began to see his personal ministry grow and develop. There he received formal training in the modern praise and worship team ministry, and has developed his preaching ministry. In 2005, Min. Morton launched Behind the Veil Praise and Worship Ministries. A ministry dedicated to equipping praise and worship leaders, ministers, musicians and lay members with skills and tool to lead the body of Christ into his presence through corporate worship. Through his ministry he has seen hearts uplifted, spirits soothed, and lives restored as he goes forth in worship. In 2005, Min. Morton brought 9 of the most anointed ladies, this side of Georgia, together to sing back up for him during his live recording. Out of this purposeful union the group Worship Experience was form and now is one of the most renown up and coming praise and worship teams to hit the gospel music industry. Mark simply defines his life and ministry as one that desires to be in the perfect will of God. He simply loves God and loves to see men, women, boys, and girls enter into divine worship.
