:::BIOGRAPHY :::

This project saw "Talcy" pull together a Team of Rappers, Singers and DJ's from New York and Los Angeles. In their early days the group had hosted their own show on New Jersey station WHBI, with the legendary "World Famous Supreme Team Radio Show" alongside the legendary Mr Magic, before the latter shifted to WBLS. The idea of their partnership with McLaren was to make a modern record, mixed with Rap/Sqare Dance/African/ Folk- & Pop Music and more. Duck Rock was produced by Trevor Horn (Producer and Member of the Art of Noise). The World's Famous SUpreme Team - probably best known for providing the cutting and scratching on Malcolm McLaren's classic "Buffalo Gals", The World Famous Supreme Team made their biggest impact on wax with this cuts, and especially with their own Debut Single "Hey D.J.", a big street and club hit in the spring of 1984.
