Loretti front woman Aimie Lovett honed her vocal and writing skills in the Dallas music scene, where she fronted the bands The U.B.A (2006-2007) and Wolf Rayet (2008). In early 2009, Lovett felt a pull back to her original inspirations – rural country, western and bluegrass sounds and the passionate vocal stylings of artists such as Linda Rondstadt and rock bands such as Heart, The Eurythmics and Blondie. Inspired, Lovett crafted and refined this new sound in Texas, where she recorded the first Loretti EP with Aaron Borden, of Exit 380 Co-Producing. In 2010, she made the move to Los Angeles and teamed up with producer/engineer/artist Scott Warren, drummer Taylor Dexter, and back up vocalist Alex Wolfe. Together, they recorded their first full-length album, at Let It Bleed, Warren's studio, and Loretti bloomed into the Indie Romance Rock you hear today. Loretti is currently playing in support of their NEW full-length album, The First Arrest.
