With Honest Eyes

With Honest Eyes was formed in the winter of 2006 in Sammamish Wa. It started with Caleb and Erik jamming in Erik's spare room. They soon decided that they wanted to turn it into a full band and asked their friends Mikey, Matt, Justin and Jordan to join. Quickly they began writing music in full force, and by the spring of 2007 they began recording their first album "Love Like the Radio." Everyone in the band was either 15 or 16 years old when the album was recorded. It was finished the summer of 2007 and the band began to play shows on the local Eastside. Soon after the release of "Love Like the Radio" in 2008 the band began to write new music and talk about the possibility of recording an EP. Later that year the bassist Jordan Tittle left the band, and soon after Ian McClung joined to fill the gap. After six months of writing new music With Honest Eyes began to record their debut self titled EP. It was self recorded by the band in Erik Knudsen's garage during the summer of 2008. In March of 2009 the band went through another member change. Rhythm guitarist Matt Troublood left on good terms with the band and is still a valued friend and supporter. Nick Phillips, guitarist and songwriter, jumped in and the band began to take a new more powerful direction. After a year of waiting, the release of the brand new self titled EP is finally set for September of 2009.
