Biography
Will Scott is known for his bluesy voice, distinctive guitar-playing, and crafty songwriting. Scott's energetic, deeply-soulful, live performances have captivated crowds all over the US. His style is a meeting of blues and Americana, with a dash of rock and traditional country.

Raised in Indianapolis, IN, and Chicago, IL, Scott grew up in a musical family tradition, surrounded by a mix of blues, bluegrass, traditional country, jazz, and rock & roll. His first recording project, "Too Damn Cold," with The Forecasters (1998) garnered world-wide acclaim. (Will Scott has a good vibrato and a knack for surprises –Blues Revue). Scott's first solo record, "Solo Electric Blues," caught the attention of Ben Vaughn (That 70's Show, Third Rock) and other notables in the California music industry. While a home-cooked recording project, that album helped launch Scott into New York's music scene in 2002.

Summer, 2009, sees the release of "Gnawbone" produced by Gold Record recipient, Preacher Boy (Blind Pig Records, Coast Road Records, Eagle Eye Cherry). The new record features guest performances by Jolie Holland, Samantha Parton (The Be Good Tanyas), and Jan Bell. Scott has shared the stage with many respected and legendary artists including all of the above, Buddy Miller, Elizabeth Cook, J. Walter Hawkes (Emmy winner, Norah Jones), Mickey Champion, and Sam Myers.

Will Scott lives in Brooklyn, NY, and performs regularly in the New York area and on tour in the US and Europe
