Will Brierly and the Roller Holsters is more of a Zen conceptual art entity than a band. It is the conception, execution and distribution that make this so. Rather than remain locked into convention, all facets of the Roller Holster operation revolve around innovation. It is with a passion for music, sociology, psychology and magic that Will orchestrates his business.

The term Will Brierly is fixed and refers to a specific set of circumstances in the fabric of the universe, namely: the human being who was birthed by Mary Brierly with genes contributed by Raymond Brierly on the Thirtieth of October, in the year of Nineteen Hundred and Eighty One. Roller Holster, on the other hand, is a term free from narrow interpretation. The words taken separately have their own definitions, but together they are more open in meaning. When juxtaposed with the term Will Brierly, their meaning begins to take shape. A roller holster could be a member of Will’s musical group, or it could be a friend who helps carry gear, or a promoter, or a fan. It could also be a belt used to carry hair curlers.

The human race has created an expansive array of music to listen to, and Will has never closed himself off from any of it. From a young age he was encouraged to be open to all sources of human creativity. It is this openness that has allowed him to work in the way he does as a musician. He continues to strive to write, record and perform the best and most interesting music he possibly can. And he’ll never stop bettering himself or his ideas, he doesn’t know how to.
