Whoosh

Whoosh is a band of 4 artistically driven personalities whose music blends a



smooth female voice over innovative electric guitar. From wild and funky to hard and chunky, it is amazing how much sound can



come out of one woman. The unique rhythm section mixes expressive drums with tight rhythm guitar and melodic bass grooves.



The



live Whoosh experience adds interesting custom stage visuals created by the band to expand their already intense and



distinctive sound.



The band recently expanded to 4 members with the addition of guitarist Trevor Tarhos. The music of Whoosh flows in the vein



of



prominent acts such as Garbage, Evanescense, Poe, Curve, and other modern rock artists featuring a woman at the front.



Shannon, Myron and Mike blended their diverse musical and visual talents together on a self titled debut album in early 2000.



They are currently in the studio with Trevor following that up with a project capturing their newly evolved sound.
