From humble beginnings and futile dreams the story that is Whitewater has captured the Irish Rock lovers imagination and musical taste for over 3 years. In its infancy it was nothing more than a childhood dream but now that dream has become a reality with the release of their critically acclaimed brand new amazing debut album "Relentless" which hits record stores for fan club members on December 19th and goes on release Jan 1st 2009 accompanied by their radio release "Broken".
Irish Rockers Whitewater first blasted onto the Irish Music scene in 2006 with the release of their debut single "Original" charting at 17. Original went onto be the 42nd best selling single of 2006 beating off stiff competition such as U2's One and Damian Rices Cannonball. Following extensive touring and promoting the band decided to release their 2nd single entitled "Stay" which spent a staggering 13 weeks at 1 in the Irish download music charts and reached 23 in the Irelands official top 40. On the back of their initial success the band followed up their opening two brilliant singles with a third Summer smash entitled "Summertime" which gained a whole new legion of fans and also gave the band their second Irish download 1, reaching 31 in Irelands top 40. With success becoming a household name in the Whitewater camp it was inevitable the follow up to their previous work would become another massive hit with their ever growing legion of fans. Hence the birth of their huge hit and Debut Album title track "Relentless" gaining the band yet another Irish download 1, another Irish chart hit and serious International media attention. The band have built up a massive worldwide following and now play up to twenty shows a month and for those of you that have not witnessed a Whitewater show this is a high octane all out balls to the wall rock show not to be missed. Their websites boast hits in excess of 400,000 making Whitewater a name to watch out for on the International market. Appearing on numerous TV shows led to their biggest performance to date at 02 in the park playing to an audience of 100,000 and gaining the band support slots in such prestigious Irish Venues as The Olympia, The Helix, The Waterfront and The Theatre Royal supporting some of the biggest names in the Rock and Pop scene such as "The Feeling" in Ireland, UK and America. With single sales having already reached platinum status, Whitewater get ready to launch their much anticipated Debut Album titled "Relentless" which will hit record stores on December 19th for fan club members and will be officially released on Jan 1st 2009.
