What happened to Roy G. Biv?

Ungewöhnliche Bands erfordern ungewöhnliche Bandnamen. Ob das der Gedanke war, den die Jungs bei der Bandgründung im Hinterkopf hatten? Egal, denn diese Frage ist eigentlich obsolet angesichts dessen, was uns die jungen Kölner mit ihrer neuen EP „River“ auftischen: Intelligenten und tiefgründigen Post-Indierock zwischen Experiment und Eingängigkeit, Progressive und Pop. Dabei klingen sie frisch und unkonventionell, vor allem aber auch absolut zeitgemäß – dass sie schon zusammen mit Szene-Heroen wie …Trail of Dead oder The Joy Formidable auf einer Bühne standen, versteht sich da fast von selbst.



Exceptional bands need exceptional band names. Whether that was the idea that the guys had in mind when forming their band? Nevermind, this question is clearly obsolete in view of what the band from Cologne has to offer with their new EP "River": Intelligent and profound Post-Indie rock, between experiment and catchiness, progressive and pop, while sounding fresh and unconventional - but most importantly: timely. That's why they shared the stage with heroes of the rock scene, such as Trail of Dead or The Joy Formidable.
