• Licensed music to an episode of “Life Unexpected” on CW network 2010.
• Headlined the Portland Rose Festival 2009.

• Shared the stage with Alice in Chains, Buckcherry, Seether, Incubus, Chevelle, Everclear, and Supersuckers.
• Honored as the "Best of Portland" by PDXposed.
• Featured artists in Budweiser’s True Music Series.

Drawing comparisons to AC/DC, Jet, and Foo Fighters, Western Aerial’s latest release Try To Keep Up is chalk-full of the non-stop, pull-no-punches guitar-laden rock music that fans have come to expect. Featuring the anthemic “All I Had In Mind” and “Hot As Hell” along side crowd sing-along favorites "Housewives," and “Going To Jail” the album also shows a more melodic, softer side of Western Aerial on "Saturday Night (This Is Sunday Morning)," as well as darker introspection on “Feel Nothing”.

Try To Keep Up was recorded at Opal Studio in Portland, Oregon by engineer and producer Kevin Hahn. “We’ve never spent this much time in the studio, but we were committed to making the best recording possible without compromise,” says vocalist/guitarist Geoff Metts. "We’ve really grown over the last couple of years as musicians and songwriters; these songs show a tighter focus on those crafts.” The album is Western Aerial's third studio album and the band's sixth recording to be released, including a live album and two EP singles. “We’re so excited to share the new album with everybody, it’s our best work yet.”
The influence of producer Kevin Hahn has expanded on the production of previous albums, “He knew what we were after and really pushed us to step up musically and add layers outside the live recording style we’re used to” Metts explained. “For these recordings we tried to serve the song in terms of instrumentation.”

To support the album, the band will be touring “everywhere. . .just look for the van or follow the trail of beer cans" continues Metts.
