Born in Compton, California Home of NWA. Wes Coas is a hybrid artist in hip hop with the vocal tones and intensity of an early Ice Cube and the lyricism of a Jay-z or Nas. It's a rare combination of talent and drive that pushes his music. While living Down South in Houston, Tx, he has adapted his style and sound to fit in the same city that plays home to artist such as ScarFace and UGK. A backpacker in his essence Wes Coas provides music to be enjoyed by the culture of Hip Hop enthusiast worldwide. Wes Coas Has released several Mixtapes and 2 albums. His Debut album, "Manifest Destiny" was released digitally on March 10, 2009. His latest Street Album "Great Western Form" was released May 25th, 2010, and received 3,500 downloads within 4 days of being released. He's Currently finishing up the final dates to the "United Front Tour", to embark on his very own, "Wes Coas Is Down South Tour"
