We're Weird Chicken, a band out of Jerusalem, Israel. Typical example of starting young, almost as a joke, and gradually developing into something we're quite proud of. As for the inevitable question: we don't really know what "style" we play. All we know is it's rock, it's loud and it ain't apathetic. Oh, and being out of Jerusalem spared us amusing "scene" rules such as "you should look like this!" or "you can't play that. I thought you were punk!"



IN late 2003, we embarked on a two month tour to the States. Met some great bands, had some great experiences, and learned how to hate each others guts when we got sick of being so goddamn tolerant.



Never losing a beat, we've continued writing and playing. It took over a year to crank out our first proper LP, but it's out (full album download above) and expect to see us in 2010. We cannot stress this enough: BRING EARPLUGS!
