►"Reason" was written for the german pop group "No Angels". Originally entitled "That's the Reason" from the album "Elle'ments" (2001), Brötzmann + Geringas produced and partially re-wrote the song for a single release in 2003 and named it "Reason".

►This song was a farewell from Germany´s first TV casting band "No Angels", when they split up and decided to start own careers. It´s the last song, they´ve recorded in the original cast. Thorsten Brötzmann is one of the most talented german songwriters, I think.
I found the lyrics a bit weird to sing though. It didn´t feel smooth and also I had to sing in the lowest possible key, but I love that song. I do.

►Dieses Lied war das letzte, daß die "No Angels" in Originalbesetzung aufgenommen haben. Ich liebte die Gruppe. Und ich liebe dieses Lied. Es ist etwas kantig zum singen, fühlte sich nicht rund an, und ich mußte in meiner tiefsten Tonlage singen, aber ich hab es sehr gerne gesungen. Jawohl. Ich halte den Co-Autor Thorsten Brötzmann für einen der talentiertesten Komponisten Deutschlands. Hab ich schon erwähnt, daß ich die No Angels echt lieb hatte? :-)
