Hailing from San Diego California, Wayne Findlay has become one of the most sought after Guitarist/Keyboardists in America. He has toured and recorded with some of rock's most historic legends: Michael Schenker, Vinnie Moore, Carmine Appice, Vinnie Appice, Spencer Davis, Simon Phillips, Neil Murray, Pete Way, Chris Glen, Chris Slade, Gary Barden, Herman Rarebell, Kelly Keeling, Pete Holmes, Phillip Bynoe, Robin McAuley, Michael Voss, Gregg Analla, Lenny Wolf, Mark Zonder, Rev Jones, Ted McKenna and more.
Wayne has also had the privilege to perform on stage with such heavyweights as: Thin Lizzy, Uli Jon Roth, Rudolf Schenker, Warren DiMartini, Frank Hannon, Ryo Okumoto, Leslie West, Robbie Crane, Brian Tichy, James Kottak, among many others.
Wayne currently stands as the longest member of the Michael Schenker Group, also contributing as Music Director, he has recorded and toured the world for the past 12 years.
He recently completed the M.S.G. "30th Anniversary" World Tour 2010, the "In the Midst of Beauty" World Tour 2008-2009, the "Tales of Rock N' Roll" Worldwide Tour 2006-2007 and also the "Arachnophobiac" World Tour 2004-2005.
These extensive worldwide tours had him performing in over 27 countries for well over 500,000 people.
The Michael Schenker Group CD,"Tales of Rock N' Roll": 25 years of M.S.G., features Wayne Findlay trading off guitar solos with the legendary Michael Schenker himself on 2 tracks. This CD is also available in stores worldwide.
He is currently in the Mar. 2010 Issue of Guitar World Magazine, Nov. 2009 issue of Premier Guitar Magazine, Spring 2010 Carvin Catalog, Guitar World Magazine, for a National Carvin V3 Amplifier Ad for Mar. 2009, and Feb. 2009 issue of Guitar Player.
He also was featured in the Nov. 2007 issue of Young Guitar Magazine, and Nov.2007 issue of Beatleg Magazine. He was asked to do a spotlight article, "Betcha Can't Play This!" and DVD, for the Aug. 2007 issue of Guitar World Magazine.
His band SLAVIOR features: Wayne Findlay (M.S.G./Vinnie Moore) on Guitar/Keyboards, Mark Zonder (Fates Warning/Warlord) on Drums, Gregg Analla (Tribe of Gypsies/Seventhsign) on Vocals, and newest member, Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai/Ring of Fire) on Bass. SLAVIOR released their highly acclaimed self-titled debut CD, on April 3rd, 2007. It was released worldwide on InsideOut Music and
