talk about the cover? Genius!

Orde Meikle (Slam): Nice Trax. Forever No More, cool old school

Chicago vibe.

“All we wanted to do was to produce pop music that would make people dance with a smile on their face.” The two minds behind the Miss Plug Inn project – Wawashi (already DJ at Bologna’s infamous Cassero club) and Miss Plug Inn herself – seem to have pretty clear ideas. Bored with the recent turn in club music trends, the two decided to give form to their own idea of dance music. The first few tracks were soon produced and posted onto their own Myspace page, through which – together with some positive feedback – quickly came two unexpected offers to remix one of their songs, Shake Your Body. First was Denis Karimani, better known as Remute, and voted amongst best albums and best live acts of 2006 by German music magazine Groove. Then Italy’s very own Discodromo, Prins Thomas’ new protégé.

It’s now finally the turn of Mr. “Cybernetic Love” Casco who, after falling in love with Miss Plug Inn’s distinctive Italodisco sound, has decided to release some of their material on his digital label Music Control.

Enough talking. Time to follow Miss Plug Inn’s strict orders: “Don’t be a robot…shake your body!”
